Monika is a Speech-Language Pathologist that decided to return to college after her youngest daughter was diagnosed with a profound hearing loss in infancy. She was driven to give back to other families the beautiful gift of communication that her own daughter acquired after receiving years of intensive speech-language therapy. Monika has a strong desire to empower parents/families to develop communication, regardless of modality, that is functional and purposeful in their child’s life. A collaborative team approach to figuring out what works for each individual child and family is essential in her treatment delivery.
Monika received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a Master of Science in Speech Pathology from California State University, Sacramento.
